From Truckee, California, take Highway 80 east 10 miles to the Hirschdale Road Exit. Follow Hirschdale Road 1 mile and turn left at Boca Dam. Drive 1 mile to the campground, which will be on the right side of the road. |

The campground offers single-family sites, a few of which are designated for tent camping only. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilets are provided but there is no water. |
